Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actress. Born March 27, 1970, she stands 5'9 tall. Mitchell and her mom moved from California to Dallas Texas from California in the year 1970. In 1975 the Mitchell's mom got married Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell has graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts an all-public magnet school. The eldest sister of Katherine Day Kate Mitchell, Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell and Kristina Mitchell. She currently is known for the role of the character of Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime-drama Criminal Minds. The show was announced in June of 2010 that Emily Prentiss's role would decrease during the sixth episode of Criminal Minds. The character of Brewster was removed from the show in March 2011. quit the show but could return at a later date.
