Candice King Candice King, an American actor who rose to fame playing Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Candice started out as a performer prior to becoming a star performer. Her first album was released, 'It's Always The Innocent in the United States', in 2009. In it, she composed twelve songs out of 14 that comprise the album. While working on her acting in the show, she also appeared in shows like How I Met Your Mother. While she was able to sustain a stable professional career, her biggest break did not come until The Vampire Diaries. Her name became famous quickly. Candice King was recognized for her outstanding acting skills and performance. The actress played the exact same role for all eight seasons which ran 171 episodes. In addition, she played her main role on the spin-off series The Originals in 2018 and Legacies in 2021.
